B. Ost, Registered Osteopath
I qualified as an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in 2009 having had first-hand experience of its effectiveness following a serious back injury. I had resigned myself to a life of back discomfort after having tried other treatments until one day I followed up a recommendation from someone to see an Osteopath. The treatments resolved my back problems to this day. My longstanding curiosity about the workings of the body led to a career change, which ultimately led me to where I am today!
My interests include a diverse range of mainly outdoor pursuits including horse-riding, biking and tennis. I have also practiced yoga for over 14 years and am soon to become a qualified yoga teacher. This background has increased my understanding and awareness of body function which comes into play when giving advice.
Although I hold a strong appreciation for prescriptive medicine and surgery when necessary, the huge potential that Osteopathy offers for treating pain and improving health is under-recognised and should be exploited more!!
My job is my passion in life as well as my livelihood, which gives me double the motivation to solve people's problems! And on the chance where I am unable to solve yours, then I will endeavour to direct you to someone who can. If you are not sure whether I can help you, then please give me a ring. If I am busy, leave a message or send me an email and I will get back to you so we can discuss your situation.
