I trained in holistic massage in 2010 with the renowned Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. The in-depth Level 4 training included both practical and theory exams, to the standard of the first year of a degree programme. My diploma was awarded by the Massage Training Institute and qualified me to join its practitioner register.
Massage is a work of love for me; it’s a joy for me to offer sessions and enter into the still, quiet space of being. I see the relationship with my clients as a partnership: they share what they need, and I bring my knowledge and skills to create a session that will help them the most on that day. I offer them aftercare to practice at home, which helps to speed up the healing process.
My work can benefit a range of conditions, including: aching muscles, repetitive strain injuries, overactive mind, stiff joints, Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, anxiety and chronic stress.
I also offer workshops for couples and small groups to learn basic massage skills to practice with family and friends.
I am insured through Balens and regulated by the MTI practitioner code of ethics.
